Simple Setup

DOS Setup

Download the zipped installation files.  Unzip them into a temp folder.  Run the install.exe file which will create a "snap" folder/directory.  Then create a shortcut as instructed below.

Setup32

The install or setup32 program will create a folder called "snap".  All the files needed will reside in this folder.  SNAP-2-IT is totally self contained.  Do not install the full working evaluation version over a real registered version.  You will lose some system data and may corrupt your database.  Please call us if would like an update for the registered version.

Shortcuts

The shortcut needs to simply point to the "snap.exe" program file.  You must create the shortcut to the "snap.exe" from a mapped drive letter if you are installing it to a network drive.  You must first map a drive letter to the UNC-name: Universal Naming Convention: \\server-name\share-name. There is a snap.ico icon file that you may use for the shortcut.
